2025 Evaluations

As a friendly reminder, all players should plan to attend the evaluation for age group, as of May 1st. Please see the Babe Ruth League, Inc. Player Age Charts to confirm your players eligibility age, if needed. In the event that our evaluators and coaches recommend that your player is eligible for a division beyond their age, parents/ guardians will be contacted and offered the opportunity.

All players and fans should enter the LMS from the rear parking lot this year. There will be signs at the door. Parking is available on the Lewiston Rec side of LMS or behind LMS (field side.) Doors will open at 5:40pm for check in. Please allow time for your player to change into dry shoes (no cleats) and gather necessary equipment prior to 6pm. All players should have a water bottle available. There will be a limited amount of helmets, gloves and small sized cleats (size 10-3) available at no cost, thanks to generous donations. If your player does not have a bat for evaluations, we will have a few to borrow!

Fans will not be permitted on the gym floor during evaluations, bleachers will be available for seating. We respectfully ask that fans refrain from engaging with their player while they are evaluating. Information regarding Lewiston Cal Ripken Player and Spectator Code of Conduct (see attached), season timelines, Spring Field Clean Up Day, Opening Day, snack shack and field/ maintenance volunteer opportunities and fundraising will be provided at evaluations.
